[SRU precise] [PATCH 0/2] LP#1205284 -- linux-tools for lts backports

We have sanitised the linux-tools naming and on disk layout for saucy and
later which are propogating back into precise via the lts-backports-saucy
packages. To handle the cross over we need to update the generic helpers
to support both forms, and fix up an issue with the saucy backport itself.

Following this email are two patches: one for precise/master-next which
fixes up the generic helper script so it handles both forms; and the
second for precise/lts-backports-saucy which fixes up the -common package
handling.

Proposing for SRU to precise. These should be applied in the same SRU
cycle though things are no worse with either arriving without the other.
