We seem to have dropped the sauce patches for doing these quirks at all
in saucy, so we'd need to grab the previous patches as well. But there
are some patches upstream for a more comprehensive solution that look
like they should land in 3.11, so unless there's some urgent need to fix
this into saucy soon I'd vote that we just wait it out.
