== Raring SRU Justification ==

BugLink: http://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1196658

Intel has requested the following patch be included for Raring to add support for Intel Avoton SoC's. The patch is currently in the linux-next tree and should land in v3.11. Please consider applying this as a pre-stable patch for Raring. We should also apply to Saucy for good measure, although we should get it for free if we move to a v3.11 kernel for Saucy anyways. The risk of regression should be minimal as it is only adding new chipset info and device id's. Ideally Intel wants this to land in Raring prior to the 12.04.3 point release on Aug 22 (ie needs to hit the SRU cadence on or before the week of Aug 1).

== Fix ==
This is a clean cherry-pick into Saucy and a straight forward backport for Raring.
