== Precise SRU Justification ==

Commit 97dec56 introduced a regression that breaks communication with XYRATEX.  This bug was fixed in mainline by commit c3ccb1d.  The fix was submitted to upstream stable and will be in 3.2.50 as commit: f6c02a0.  Requesting SRU to have this fix in Precise until the 3.2.50 updates are applied.

A test kernel was built with this patch and tested by the original bug reporter.  The bug reporter states the test kernel resolved the bug.
