[ 3.8.y.z extended stable ] Patch "usb: serial: cp210x: Add USB ID for Netgear Switches embedded serial" has been added to staging queue

This is a note to let you know that I have just added a patch titled

    usb: serial: cp210x: Add USB ID for Netgear Switches embedded serial

to the linux-3.8.y-queue branch of the 3.8.y.z extended stable tree 
which can be found at:

 http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=ubuntu/linux.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/linux-3.8.y-queue

This patch is scheduled to be released in version 3.8.13.7.

Subject: usb: serial: cp210x: Add USB ID for Netgear Switches embedded serial
 adapter

commit 90625070c4253377025878c4e82feed8b35c7116 upstream.

This adds NetGear Managed Switch M4100 series, M5300 series, M7100 series
USB ID (0846:0110) to the cp210x driver. Without this, the serial
adapter is not recognized in Linux. Description was obtained from
an Netgear Eng.
