Vile, vile, vile.  The only saving grace is they are all clean
cherry-picks.  They seem pretty targetted and the code seems to do what
is claimed.  This will need some propper testing.  I would suggest we
should ask QA/Cert for some actual hands on testing on a few random
systems above the normal runs to confirm output is good and stable.

As they are recommended by upstream, clean picks, and assuming they test
ok:
