I just noticed two patches that we have already dropped from Quantal to be
escaped from their graves. Please use big stake:

commit 1ff96ff455ad3ddaca10d97c63292f0ccaccaef0
Author: John Johansen <john.johansen at canonical.com>
Date: Wed Sep 15 10:28:20 2010 -0700

UBUNTU: SAUCE: Improve Amazon EBS performance for EC2

-> Dropped from Quantal, too. This would only have worked with support from
the host side which never happened.

commit e035b54f867d105fc9a576a9d141eb2eb716da32
Author: Stefan Bader <stefan.bader at canonical.com>
Date: Fri Jun 15 11:54:59 2012 +0200

UBUNTU: SAUCE: Mask CR4 writes on older Xen hypervisors

-> This was found to be unnecessary after upstream changes to probe for
it (XSAVE). Was dropped from Quantal as well.

Thanks,
Stefan
