This is a note to let you know that I have just added a patch titled

    gpiolib: Don't return -EPROBE_DEFER to sysfs, or for invalid

to the linux-3.5.y-queue branch of the 3.5.y.z extended stable tree

gpios requested with invalid numbers, or gpios requested from userspace via sysfs
should not try to be deferred on failure.
