[PATCH 0/1] LP#805494 -- fix kernel builds on newer kernels

We are starting to see reports of build failures when compiling
older kernels. These are from people building older kernels on their
Oneiric boxes; even occuring when they are correctly using chroots.
After extended diagnosis this turns out to another way to trigger the
rtl8192se "makefile uses uname -r" insanity. Given these are hard to
diagnose it seems appropriate to pull this build fix back to the affected
releases; to Maverick and Natty.
Proposing for SRU to Maverick and Natty. Note that the change is a build
time change only.
