Ok, this takes me a step further: The debug package built successfully
and i was able to install it. Unfortunately, apport-retrace crashed. So
i tried to do t manually by

$ apport-unpack /var/crash/linux-image*.crash /tmp/unpacked
$ crash /usr/lib/debug/boot/vmlinux-`uname -r` /tmp/unpacked/VmCore

The last statement prints:

crash: invalid structure size: x8664_pda
       FILE: x86_64.c  LINE: 584  FUNCTION: x86_64_cpu_pda_init()

[/usr/bin/crash] error trace: 452b8f => 4de65b => 4e0114 => 51e645

  51e645: SIZE_verify+180
  4e0114: (undetermined)
  4de65b: x86_64_init+3218
  452b8f: main_loop+152

What does this mean?

Let me tell you something about my setup: i run the current kamic kernel
from the repository. But i installed the modules from compat-wireless.

I still have that red exlamation mark (apport), which appeard after
reboot directly after the crash. Should i report it, or would it be
'rejected' because of compat-wireless?

Thank you very much for your help so far.
Henning
