[PATCH 0/2] [Karmic] SRU: acpi-video: Fix broken _BQC implementations

SRU Justification:

Impact: Sort of caused by allowing partially implemented ACPI video device
declarations (_DOD but not _DOS) to be considered as valid video devices,
some run into problems when the (preferred) acpi driver takes control over
the backlight.

Fix: Either could be worked around by using "acpi_backlight=vendor" or by
picking the following two upstream commits which add handling to two
commonly seen problems (First call to _BQC returns invalid data and _BQC
being useless as it always returns values other than declared with _BCL).

Testcase: Affected laptops were unable to control brightness in current
karmic, but had success with the patched version).
