Hi Guys,

Per the last Ubuntu kernel team IRC meeting there was a discussion
regarding the /staging drivers spec[1] and who is going to take
ownership. It was mentioned it might be helpful to get some stats from
the hwdb to indicate which of the drivers might have a larger presence.
Here's some numbers that I was able to get. Keep in mind that an
individual is able to submit more than one hw profile and obviously
submitting a hw profile is completely optional.

             hw profiles
driver w/driver total profiles submitters total submitters

I left off stats for the following drivers as the gobby doc indicated
they were going to be disabled/dropped (let me know if you'd like to see
data on them anyways):

aufs - disable/drop
dm-loop - disable/drop
gfs - disable/drop
lenovo-sl-laptop - disable/drop
tlsup - disable/drop
snd-bt-sco - disable/drop
acx - disable/drop

Hope that helps.

Thanks,
Leann
