I turned on Keyspan firmware because I couldn't think of a good reason
not to. Besides, I have one myself and also grew tired of having to
rebuild the module each time I found a use for a serial console.

As far as I'm concerned, the Keyspan firmware will continue to be
built-in to future Ubuntu kernels as long as the firmware continues to
be shipped with the mainline kernel.
