[PATCH 0/1] [Jaunty SRU] LP#228399 -- fix panics on lid close

We have reports of panics on lid close on Compaq laptops.  This seems to
be caused by a lack of initialisation on cirtain i915 based chipsets.
The following patch below has been tested to prevent these panics by
the reporter.

Proposing for SRU to Jaunty.  Karmic already has the equivalent fix.
