VFS Union mounts suck for Live CDs

This is good to hear, and I agree with the rationale in the discussion.
FWIW, the live CD infrastructure will automatically start using aufs
again once it's available with no changes required (assuming the module
name is still 'aufs' and not 'aufs2', otherwise it'd need a slight
tweak).
