... a few helpful hints:

- if its a bigger change of needs multiple patches, we should
  discuss that with the subsystem maintainer
- when sending the patch, at least include the subsystem
  maintainer but it does not hurt to have either all people
  in the signed-off trail on cc.

A good way to find the right list is to use get_maintainer.pl.
Its just called with you patch as an argument:

linux-2.6> ./scripts/get_maintainer.pl <your patch>

and will emit a lot of potential targets. Sometimes more than needed.

If someone has more hints, please post a reply here. I probably have
forgotten things and I am learning some things as well.
