[karmic] Patch needed for acer travelmat 2440 users

This bug have a fix released status, the patch is an upstream patch, however
it does not seem to be applied yet on upstream or on ubuntu kernel version.

I tested yesterday on my computer, and it works. So can you include it on
your next kernel update release ?

It will be very helpful to start my computer ^^;
