These patches already exist in Linville's wireless-testing tree, from
which linux-backports-modules-2.6.31 is packaged. Is this not
sufficient? I did add the iwlwifi-1000-ucode-128.50.3.1 to the LBM
package, even though it is also being installed from the Karmic
linux-firmware package.

While these patches are straightforward, they are also quite extensive
for this late in the release cycle. With these patches I anticipate that
any stable updates to the iwlwifi drivers will conflict, making
maintenance more difficult then necessary.
