Karmic at MacBookAir Kernel Suspend Bug Day Update [SOLVED]

Greetings Tim, Andy,

here is an update regarding the suspend problem I reported on Tuesday.
Apparently there is a problem with setting quirks for the usbhid module.
I used to have this line in my /etc/modprobe.d/options.conf:

options usbhid quirks=0x05ac:0x820a:0x0004,0x05ac:0x820b:0x0004

It instructs the usbhid module to ignore a couple of odd devices present
on my computer. By removing the line, the machine suspends and resumes
without problems. Thus all is good with the karmic default. (My custom
compile had usbhid compiled in, thus the problem never showed for me.)

If you would have any idea as to why the quirks disrupt the suspend
flow, I would be happy to hear them.

Cheers,
Henrik Rydberg
