DVB firmware has been dropped from the Karmic linux-firmware package for
licensing reasons. You'll have to use the device manager and
firmware-cutter to extract them known sources, much as is done for
Broadcom firmware.

As far as I know, if you've purchased a pre-installed mini-10v version
of Ubuntu from Dell, then it ought to just work.
