Update on this one:

Andy helped to check the released kernels from .37 to .42. In all those the 
only time the prism2_usb driver from ubuntu/ won just once the race and that 
was in -11.42(i386).
So it seems in the majority of cases users have run the driver from staging. In 
the light of this it looks to me as the most sensible thing to go for the 
staging driver for sure and let the one from ubuntu/ die.
What would be your "votes"?
