Hi there,
Looking at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/196686
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDEDMA_PMAC=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC_ATA100FIRST=y

powerpc's".
Any idea why this notion of these being invalid for SMP powermacs such
as dual 1.42 GHz PowerPC 7455 G4's and G4 dual / quad machines? Looking
at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Install_Gentoo_on_a_G5, these settings
are enabled, so it seems that that are valid for SMP PowerPC's.
