Well, it's part of an official release of kvm. Is that good enough?

60 is the version. I wonder why "the 1.2 release of foo" looks more
reasonable than "the 60 release of bar"..  I totally see it now that you
point it out, it's just curious :)

It simply hasn't been pushed yet for 2.6.25 as there is probably going
to be even more work put into it.

As with everything that lands in kvm releases, it's been massively
tested and reviewed on the kvm-devel mailing list.
