Scott,
We discussed non-upstreamed code quite a bit at UDS and the outcome was
to move all of the bits that we carry into upstream in in the
linux-staging tree.
This is an area in the upstream kernel where non-upstreamed drivers can

Can you work with the upstream to get the code in that tree? If so then
we can can turn it on. Please report back to the list and let us know
either way.
