ACK on all 3 patches with the following changes:

1) Please add the upstream commit SHA1 to patches 0001 and 0002 using
the  '-x' option of 'git cherry-pick'.

2) Please add the Launchpad bug number and your SOB when doing the
cherry-pick using the options '-e' and '-s'.
