I've been tentatively trying to get the powerpc/ps3 side of things
progressed in the ports kernel. I did come across this error recently. A
complete clean and rebuild made it go away. I didn't have time to
investigate. I have a feeling it may have happened after I incremented
the ABI.
BTW, I had to fix the getabis script [0] in order to get the ABI
checking to work at all. I think it's gonna be a while before I'm done
stabilising the kernel for PS3, maybe this patch should be pulled over
sooner?

I could maybe make a test build for powerpc on my PS3. I'm quite short
of time these days unfortunately - do you have any canned instructions
on how I should test this feature or do you just want to make sure it
builds/boots?
