Hi all,
after final release I went back to some of those patches that we
deferred for the initial Hardy release because they were slightly too
intrusive at that point in time. Namely the scheduler change to solve
the delayed recognition of keys pressed during higher I/O load
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/218516
and the changes to ACPI to solve suspend/resume problems (which showed
up for Wacom serial tablets but might also lurking elsewhere).
The first one being already upstream and the second one in the ACPICIA
repo (might rather be a 2.6.26 integration).
This two patches should go in quite early as they should receive well
testing. I put them on zinc:~smb/4review and also to my personal git
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git?p=smb/ubuntu-hardy.git;a=summary for all to
review.
Stefan
