It appears the addition of ALSA 1.015rc3 in linux-backports-modules has
solved many sound issues. Is this the general consensus? I suggest that
for the first SRU we continue to track current ALSA releases.
I've only seen one regression that looks bona fide; AJ Slater in
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.22/+bug/135833
appears to have had a regression.
