Hardy git repo

I've started the hardy git repo on kernel.ubuntu.com. Its pretty crufty
yet, e.g., I've only built and booted 'generic'. Until someone on the
kernel team starts a hardy l-u-m package, every device in the kernel has
been enabled (sound, wireless, etc). The configs for _all_ of the other
flavours are from gutsy and need updating. Those of you using devices
that require firmware, don't forget to create /lib/firmware/`uname -r`
and copy the appropriate files. That issue will go away (for l-u-m
supported devices) when l-u-m is created. Note that there are likely to
be build issues. Generic has been built thusly:
debian/rules binary-debs flavours="generic"
I'll be going through the gutsy kernel to identify and port the Ubuntu
'special sauce' patches over the next couple of weeks (wiki page listing
these patches to be announced). Other then that, I don't expect hardy to
diverge significantly from upstream. I'll rebase against 2.6.24 roughly
every -rc release, though perhaps more often if I encounter issues that
require it (yes I realize the pain this causes the patch based
flavours). The current plan is to stabilize on the 2.6.24 kernel.
