Good news - I am writing this comment from Dapper ;-)

I managed to boot it and run flawlessly by addind this options to kernel at boot:

acpi=off apm=on noapic

Dapper now works.

I've made some screen shots on messages appearing on non succesful boot. Do you still need them?
