Compiling the dapper kernel

Fair enough then, and thanks.  Still trying to resolve why the 
KernelGitGuide method and the KernelCustomBuild on the wiki don't seem 
to work for the Ubuntu kernel.  Or, the official method for recompiling 
the dapper kernel.
