If the kernel team wasn't already aware, the ipw2200
[http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net] supporting the Intel/PRO 2200B/G
wireless card made another release [1.0.4], normally I wouldn't care to
much, because the driver is pretty stable.

but.. they changed the firmware this time to allow monitor mode.  the
kismet project has said that as soon as ipw2200 allows monitor mode they
will add a sink for it, and I'm sure airsnort wouldn't be far behind.
if we could get that new driver in, it would be totally awesome.
