Just in case anyone's still watching, I won't re-open this unless someone thinks
I should. However, I ran across something today that makes me unsure whether
this is really resolved. Was the "Preview" post-Array 6? I only ask because
while the preview now will install and run (both the installer and Live CD work)
on this machine where Array 6 would get stuck in the boot-up, the nice thing
about Array 6 was that it actually worked on my primary PC (separate issue).
Array 6 was the first CD to work on my primary, newer PC because of a CD-ROM
detection issue (again, a separate issue). However, while the "Preview" now
seems to fix the boot problem which this bug is about, it now no longer detects
the CD-ROM on my primary PC. This got me to thinking that maybe the Preview CD
wasn't necessarily running on the same Array 6 code-base because now the issues
have flipp-flopped back to the way they were with Array 5 and all earlier builds.
