Summary: usb key not detected with 2.6.10-4-k7
           Product: Ubuntu

          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: teuf at gnome.org
         QAContact: kernel-team at lists.ubuntu.com

On an up to date ubuntu system using the 2.6.10-4-K7 kernel image, when I plug
in my usb key, it's not automounted, as far as I can tell, the system doesn't
even detect it. The log says:
usb 4-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
when I plug in the key.
It's working fine with an older 2.6.8 kernel from ubuntu, and with a 2.6.11
kernel from somewhere else (dunno exactly where this package come from).
