It was proposed in bug #2011 that we blacklist snd_intel8x0m (since apparently
it doesn't do much out of the box, and the additional software needed can handle
loading the module when appropriate), but we decided not to do it because:

- It doesn't cause any problems for me
- It only seemed to cause problems by interfering with non-free modem drivers
- The non-free modem driver in question now coexists peacefully with current
snd_intel8x0m

troubles with conflicts between snd-intel8x0m and hsfmodem drivers from 
   linuxant - the latest versions of these resolve the problem without
blacklisting anything!



Should we reconsider this?  Should this driver never be automatically loaded?
