Ok, I gave the boot options a try, and 'acpi=off' did the magic!

I also mentioned one thing, using the default command line (without acpi=off)
has one additional line at the beginning of the whole boot-proccess:
"i8042.c Can't load CTR while initializing i8042"
.. this line appears beneath the "Uncompressing linux kernel or image" and audit
xyz, so the third line.


using the acpi=off flag or the non-smp kernel does NOT show that message...
