I've updated the linux-restricted-modules package from 2.6.8.1 version to
2.6.8.1-5 and now that works.
I always update my system with synaptic.
Maybe the 2.6.8.1-5-386 linux-restricted-modules package has been added to the
repository after the 2.6.8.1-5-386 linux-image package.
