  On my Acer 3810TG laptop, suspending working after adding "i8042.reset=1" only once. After second resume - black screen.
  I've updated BIOS to v1.28, but it's not helped.
  
  After running
  sudo sh -c "sync; echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace; pm-suspend"
