[Bug 650899] [NEW] R6040 NIC driver module is not compiled

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic

The driver for the R6040 NIC is not compiled in the linux image. The
driver is included in the kernel source but disabled for compilation.

The R6040 NIC is used by the VortexDX processor.

1) Ubuntu Server 10.04.1 LTS
2) 2.6.32-24.39
3) I expected the driver to be available for use after installing Ubuntu
4) I had to download kernel source on another PC and compile the kernel to obtain the driver
