[Bug 649182] [NEW] Asrock X58 IDE / PATA controller doesn't work

Public bug reported:

PATA / IDE CD-ROM are not supported under Linux with this motherboard
altough Bios can boot from it.

Booting Ubuntu fails because media cannot be found (=>initramfs prompt)

Running Ubuntu with this motherboard means you cannot access your PATA /
IDE CD-ROM drive (no /dev/scd0 node)

The problem seems to come from the fact that the IDE controller is
shared with Firewire.
