Also would like to add, that the problem isn't with onboard it's self
but rather, this package which is needed for proper configuration of the
program. Here is the output of the package manager:
Setting up python-virtkey (0.60.0-0ubuntu1) ...

No apport report written because the error message indicates its a followup error from a previous failure.
