I've tried the following image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-netbook/daily-live/current/ this morning:
c5cd04e5b62d615c595c1bd99bad5ac6 maverick-netbook-i386.iso       24-Sep-2010 04:12  691M 

And it installs perfectly fine while I had this issue one week ago.
