The machine that the quirk is about, never touches that code path. So,
it is not fixing the bug, (or doing half the job either), bug it is not
doing any harm either. I could work with upstream for this one. It
should go away, but only for cleanup purposes. Let me see if I can get
some time next week or so, to make a test package for this one to verify
that my hypothesis is correct.
