Hi Magnus,

This sounds quite similar to bug 634702 (at least the same netbook model
it seems).  It's currently assigned to one of our Ubuntu kernel devs.
I've posted a comment in that bug noting you'd noticed the regression
between v2.6.35.3 and v2.6.35.4.  To possibly help with the debugging, I
can build you some bisect test kernels to try to narrow down the exact
patch which has introduced this regression.  If you can, please test the
following and let me know your results.  We can then proceed from there.
