Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image

Description:	Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release:	10.10
linux-image-2.6.35-21-generic
64-bit

suspend worked perfectly on Lucid; after upgrading to Maverick it works once after booting, but fails on subsequent attempts. The suspend process begins and then switches over to resume. In the attached /var/log/messages, the suspend/resume tagged mostly as Sep 19 07:43:04 was successful; the one tagged Sep 19 07:43:34 aborted and went into resume. One difference in the latter is
Sep 19 07:43:34 manini kernel: [ 2059.340041] psmouse.c: Failed to disable mouse on synaptics-pt/serio0

** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
