I am running into the same issue, on fully updated lucid.
I just wanted to add the observation that the crash seems to happen during large file transfers. (So far I have only seen it during cross device transfers >4GB, but I haven't tried to replicate with network or transfers to same device.) Other people have reported this elsewhere in reference to large file transfers over network.
Thought I should add this.
