Hi Jeremy,

   I would love to test this out, but seeing that the computer in question
is our sales register at my store, I don't have the time to take it out of
service while I install another version of the OS.
   If there is a live CD version of the development release, I could do
that, otherwise I will just have to wait and hope for the best.

   Can I run the apport-collect command from the current installation?
Would that be of any help?
