I have the same problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Linux 2.6.32-22-generic
x86_64, Logitech MX 300. Mouse freezes for 1-2 seconds, then works
again. From syslog, I can see mouse disconnecting and connecting again.
I'm going to test with another mouse if it's a hardware problem.
