I have the same problem, only happens under heavy load as described.
System becomes completely unresponsive alt + prnt screen + reisub doesnt
work. My signal strength is correctly detected though (ie its not stuck
at 100%). I'm using a dick smith electronics xh8196. It has the isl3886
chipset.
