yeah no problem, op said he was on a mini9, and so am i, here is the
alsa info you wanted. the post i found was from mid august, so i found
it recently. i cant believe a simple fix like that went undetected,
also, the other fixes were *so* tricky, at least for newbs like myself,
and yet didnt work, anyway im just glad my speakers dont hiss anymore.
